Using the video created in the classroom with Paul Klee's painting, "Full Moon", we are going to ask our students to find the different shapes and geometrical bodies used by them.

So first, I advised to show the video again, and later, go for the activity.

Animalphabet of the blog.

In this activity we will test our students memory and, at the same time, we can review the different activities we have done so far about animals.
They will need to remember which animals appear in our videos and which ones no.

Jack & Jill

With this activity, we will test a little bit our students' listening skills:
Thanks to "Jack & Jill", the nursery rhyme, we will practice the "AI" phonem, which is one of the first ones our students will have to face and understand with two different vowels together blending a new sound.

Animalphabet Jukebox

Music plays an important role when we teach English in the classroom. That's why I created Animalphabet Jukebox. 
Thanks to it, I can work phonics, the alphabet, animals and, at the same time, have some fun listening to some great songs related to the animals in the book.
E.g:

Full Moon

Developing the artistic skills of our students is another fun way to learn English. Here there is one example of what my younger students made. I show them previously to the activity, several works from the artist Paul Klee. 
We worked on the painting "Full Moon". Colours and shapes are its more important features. 
I proposed my students to "build" their own Full Moon as the main activity. Here is a short video with their works: 

Other activities we did in class and that you can do too are:

• Drawing and coloring their own Full Moon on paper.
• Wrapping up several boxes in order to create a 3D Full Moon artwork.

Room on the Broom

Let's first watch this amazing story: "Room on the Broom"

The following activity is meant to be done with the Interactive Whiteboard.
Using the images of the main characters of the story, the students must decide and place them in the following template in order of appearance.

And now, as the final activity with Room on the Broom, I invite the teacher to create some finger puppets with your students. Here you have this template to help you:

The Rainbow Fish

First, watch and listen to this lovely story: "The Rainbow Fish".

Now, try the memory of your students with the following questions:

1- What are the colours of the Rainbow Fish?

2- Name all the sea animals that you have seen in the video.
